Installation Instructions

These instructions are in the ReadMe.txt file of each WindowsUtilities program. If the name of the program to be installed is "TheProgram" then the installation steps are as follows. If you are upgrading TheProgram, first remove the current version (see below). Your Registration Code and configuration will stay in place for the update. Home

1. Download SetupTheProgram.exe into c:\temp
2. Check SetupTheProgram.exe with your AntiVirus program
3. From Explorer double-click on c:\temp\SetupTheProgram.exe to install TheProgram
4. The installation program will ask you to be sure other programs are not running and then install TheProgram.  Setup may first update some system files and then reboot the computer. If the computer is rebooted continue the installation by again double-clicking on c:\temp\SetupTheProgram.exe
5. Save the file SetupTheProgram.exe in case you need to reinstall TheProgram
6. WindowsUtilities.com programs installed on Vista or Win7 require the Help driver http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=917607

After installation TheProgram can be started from:
Start | Programs | TheProgram

You can remove TheProgram by:
Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add Remove Programs (or Programs and Features)
Select TheProgram then click Remove
